H House, Enfield

An extensive refurbishment and extension to a 1930s terraced house in North London.

We were involved in the complete redesign of the internal layout of the house, retaining only the external walls and staircase. Strategic moves were made to include a new ground floor WC and a spacious entrance hallway, while the addition of a rear extension provided an open plan kitchen, living and dining configuration to suit the needs of the growing family.

Taking advantage of the building orientation, large sliding doors and a roof light were positioned to flood the space with natural light, while providing views into the garden and a sense of connection with the outside environment.
