Crooked Mats, Berkshire

A spatial reconfiguration and large extension to a 1930s Arts and Crafts style house in Berkshire.

The scheme provided an open plan kitchen, living and dining arrangement for a growing family to enjoy. Taking advantage of its South facing building orientation, the large expanse of glazing allows natural light to flood the space throughout the day, while also maximising views into the beautifully landscaped garden to provide a sense of tranquillity and strong connection with the external context.

We were involved in the project from its inception, through to completion, ensuring it was delivered on time and within budget, to a high specification.
